The University of La Verne

About

The University of La Verne is a private not-for-profit university located in La Verne, California, United States, about 35 miles east of Los Angeles. The University of La Verne’s traditional undergraduate experience is designed to help you make the most out of your ULV experience. Whether you are a commuter, a transfer, an international student or live on campus, you will find resources and support to help you succeed.

Community

The University’s work in community engagement — one of its core values — has earned the institution a prestigious Carnegie Foundation Community Engagement Classification. Held by only 10% of colleges and universities across the U.S., the classification reflects La Verne’s partnership with the public and private sectors, directly contributing scholarship, research, creativity, and experiential teaching to the public good.

Civic Engagement

Colleges of Distinction recognized La Verne for being one of 23 California colleges and universities dedicated to the core values of engaged students, great teaching, vibrant learning communities and successful student outcomes.
